Upon the examination of Lt. Col Jessup, the prosecuting attorney Lt. Jack Ross (David Sewell) challenges a motion by Lt. Kaffee (Jon Crefeld) as Judge Randolph (Kyle Baxter) calls the court to order.
Lt.Col Nathan Jessup (Charles J. Roby) takes the stand and fervently defends his style of patriotism. The world is a very dangerous place and needs men who can guard, defend and make the life and death decisions that protect the liberty that men like Kafee take for granted.

Lt. Kaffee (Jon Crefeld) provides a flight log book to Col Jessup (Charles J. Roby) that was sent by the fugitive Capt. Markinson which shows the colonel doctored evidence to cover his actions that he personally ordered the disciplinary action that led to the death of a private under his command.
Col. Jessup (Charles J. Roby) is taken into custody as he takes responsibility for the disciplinary action but under the guise of getting rid of a weak solider that put lives and his base at risk. Lt. Kaffee (Jon Crefeld) relishes a bittersweet victory in taking down Jessup.
